Innuendo is a figure of speech in which meaning is conveyed by a hint.
In English law, innuendo means that the words or gestures complained of, although not defmatory in their ordinary or natural meaning, are, in certain circumstances, capable of an alternative construction which amounts to a libel or slander.

I think innuendo is usually used in the context of language, one would say the pictures are suggestive rather than innuendo. Interesting hub.

Suggestive imagery... hidden meaning... subliminal message... it's all the same. They say that sex sells so maybe they're using that first and foremost to grab the attention of buyers and the real product is what is being conveyed by the hint.
yea...but does it work ? ok maybe im going out on a limb here but does it inspire one to buy that product ?or just make them horny and think hell I cant afford it ,might as well just go see if the wifes still awake ( or hubby).......lol also, and I just remembered this ,I love Burger King right ,but tired of their skanky adverts I quit buying them ,so can maybe can have opposite effect.( or guys spend more $$).......
